Plane collides with bird in Pokhara Int’l Airport
Kathmandu: An airplane on Monday had a narrow escape as it collided with an eagle on its runway on while landing at Pokhara International Airport.
The airport sources however said there was no damage to the plane that collided with the bird. The bird died on the spot and was cleared immediately from the run way.
The airport did not make any official statement regarding this plan-bird collision incident.
The plan which landed in Pokhara airport from Kathmandu is reported to have flown back to Kathmandu soon after the incident as there was no effect of the collision.
