Snowfall disrupts flights in Karnali

The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) said most of the flights of Sita Air, Summit Air, Tara Air and Nepal Airlines to Jumla, Mugu, Humla and Dolpa from Nepalgunj and Surkhet were disrupted owing to heavy snowfall in the last two days.
Passengers have been stranded due to suspension of flight services. Jumla airport is said to be covered with snow now.
Weather forecast division has also said that there is high possibility of light snowfall in few places of the high hilly and Himalayan regions of Sudurpaschim Province, Karnali Province, Gandaki Province, and Bagmati Province.
