Nepal yet to get off EU air safety blacklist

Tribhuvan International Airport Kathmandu
Kathmandu: Nepal’s expectation about getting off the European Union’s black list has been in doldrums after the Yeti Airlines disaster in Pokhara recently.

This incident has caused the European Union (EU) to withdraw its commission to come to Nepal and reassess Nepal’s air safety situation again and reveal new outcome of the report.

This was disclosed in a statement issued on Friday by EU Ambassador to Nepal Nona Deprez and Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) Director General Pradeep Adhikari.
