Tiger statue lures tourists

Kathmandu: A statue of a tiger surrounded by beautiful green trees and plants on the banks of the river Kaligandaki, the resounding sound of the river sighing with waves, currently is becoming an attractive destination for tourists.

The tiger statue recently built on the banks of the Kaligandaki River located in Rampur Municipality-6 is currently becoming a center of attraction for tourists.

There is enthusiasm for visiting, taking photos, making Tik Tok, and making videos here every day. Since it is a river bank, the number of visitors has increased as compared to other places.

Diwakar Devkota, Ward President of Rampur-6, said that after the construction of a statue in the shape of a tiger where the tiger hides, i.e., the hideout with the aim of expanding and developing tourism, tourists are coming to this place.

The surroundings of this place has been decorated in such a way that it looks like a natural habitat of a real tiger on the bank of the river.

As the daily flow of domestic tourists started to increase, the local residents are demanding that the local government should take steps to prepare the environment for foreign tourists who come from Palpa headquarters Tansen and Pokhara to enter Rampur.

Access to Rampur has become easier due to the Kaligandaki Corridor. Tourism development work in Rampur area recently after connecting the road with Narayanghat, Kathmandu, Pokhara, Butwal has also paved the way for tourism prospective.
