Preparations Complete for Third Cycle Race at Historic Liglig Kot

The third cycle race at the historic Liglig Kot has completed its preparations. The event, scheduled for Saturday, March 18, aims to showcase the historical and cultural diversity, as well as the natural beauty of Liglig Kot.

According to Pramila Rana Magar Gurung, secretary of the Liglig Village Sports organizer, the technical team has cleared the race routes, and participants have started to arrive.

This year’s race will feature at least 60 national and local level cyclists, with the organizers emphasizing that the Liglig cycle race has become a national event despite its local origins.

This is the third consecutive year that the race has been held locally, with national-level athletes making time for it. The race route remains the same.

The top five finishers will receive prizes of Rs. 75,000, Rs. 50,000, Rs. 30,000, Rs. 15,000, and Rs. 7,500, respectively.
