When planning a trip to Chho Rolpa Lake, it is important to be prepared for potential health issues such as altitude sickness. It is recommended to take necessary precautions and carry essential items such as medication, food, and appropriate clothing for the trek.

Here is a day-by-day itinerary for Chho Rolpa Trek:

Day 1: Kathmandu to Gongar (1,308m)
The trek starts with an early morning drive from Kathmandu to Charikot, the district headquarters of Dolakha, and then to Gongar. This scenic drive takes around 8-10 hours. Spend the night in Simigaon.

Day 2: Gongar to Simi Gaun (2,019m)
Begin the trek from Gongar to Simi Gaun. The trail passes through Chhet Chhet, where you can enjoy a beautiful waterfall view. After crossing the suspension bridge, walk uphill to reach Simigaon. There is a wide and well-maintained footpath up to Simigaon.

Day 3: Simigaon to Kyalche (2,841m)
After breakfast, start your trek towards Kyalche via Sumurche. The trail can be steep in some places and passes through beautiful forests and streams. It takes around 6 hours to reach Kyalche, where guest houses are available. Spend the night in Kyalche.

Day 4: Kyalche to Chhimu (3,672m)
Wake up early to catch the sunrise and have breakfast before starting the trek towards Chhimu via Dogang and Thading. The trail passes through forests and meadows and takes around 6 hours to reach Chhimu. Chhimu is a small Sherpa village where you can spend the night.

Day 5: Chhimu to Na (4,114m)
After breakfast, trek towards Na via Beding. The trail passes through beautiful landscapes, stupas, and monasteries, offering breathtaking mountain views. It takes around 6 hours to reach Na, a Sherpa village located in the lap of the mountains. Spend the night in Na.

Day 6: Na to Chho Rolpa Lake (4,580m) and back to Na
Start your trek towards Chho Rolpa Lake after an early breakfast. The trail is steep and passes through moraines and rocky terrain. It takes around 4-5 hours to reach the lake. Spend some time exploring the lake and taking in the breathtaking views before trekking back to Na. Spend the night in Na. Chho Rolpa Lake is a glacier lake that is growing in size every year due to melting glaciers.

Day 7: Na to Dogang
After breakfast, trek back to Dogang. The trek takes around 6-7 hours. Spend the night in Dogang.

Day 8: Beding to Simigaon
After breakfast, trek back to Simigaon. The trek takes around 6-7 hours. Spend the night in Simigaon.

Day 9: Simigaon to Kathmandu
After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu. The drive takes around 8-10 hours.
