10,000 visitors use Manakamana cable car in single day
Kathmandu: At least 10,000 visitors used the Manakamana cable car on Friday to visit the Manakamana temple.
This is the highest number of visitors using cable cars after the cases of Covid-19 diminished in the country.
Executive Director of the Manakamana cable car company, Rajesh Babu Shrestha, said that so far 750,000 visitors coming to Manakamana temple have used the cable car till March. He also added that the highest number of visitors arrived in Manakamana to mark the new Nepali year 2080.
The Manakamana cable car is Nepal’s first cable car to have digital connect system.
