Tara Air operates multiple daily flights from Manthali to Lukla
Kathmandu: As the tourist season sets in Nepal, the Tara Air has operated dozens of daily flights from Manthali Airport in Ramechhap to Lukla in Solukhumbu for foreign tourists going to Mt Everest region.
At least 10-15 daily flights are being operated from Manthali Airport to Lukla airport said Tara air sources due to the pick hours of the tourist season.
It may be recalled that following the increased traffic at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), most of the domestic airlines including Tara air, Summit air, Sita air have been flying from Manthali airport of Ramechap for Lukla airport.
Tara Air has two planes at Manthali Airport and two to three flights per day are being operated according to Tara Air spokesperson Sudarshan Bertaula.
Tara Air has been rendering its flight services not only from Manthali Airport to Lukla but also f rom Pokhara to Jomsom and Nepalgunj from Rara, Jumla, Humla, Bajura, Dolpa and other remote areas of the country.
