Irish mountaineer Noel Hanna dies on Annapurna

Kathmandu: The world-famous Irish mountaineer and adventurer Noel Hanna is reported to have died on Annapurna I during his descent on Tuesday.

Irish climber, Hanna scaled Mount Annapurna the 10th-highest mountain in the world on Monday. He died while descending. He died near Camp 4.

Similarly, an Indian national named Anurag Maloo who went missing in the same region was found alive later.

Three other Sherpa had died on Everest on April 12 after slipping into the crevices.
