Westerly wind likely to cause light rainfall

Kathmandu: Now the country has witnessed the influence of Westerly wind and local wind.

It has caused rain in some parts of Sudurapschim Province, Karnali Province, Gandaki Province, and Bagmati Province with partial to general changes across the country, according to the Weather Forecasting Division.

This afternoon there is a chance of light, brief rain with thunders and lightning in some areas with partial to general changes across the country. It is predicted that some parts of Terai would see strong wind today.

At night time also, there is a chance of light, brief rain with thunders and lightning in some parts of the mountainous belt with weather changes in Lumbini, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces.

Today Kathmandu would see a minimum temperature at 13 Degrees and a maximum of 28 degrees Celsius (rss).
