Kamirita summited Mount Everest for 27th time

Kathmandu: Record climber Kamirita Sherpa has reached the summit of Mount Everest for the 27th time.

According to the information given by Thaneshwar Gurgai, manager of Seven Summit Treks, Sherpa has reached the peak of Everest for the 27th time today at 8:30 am on Wednesday. He has reached the summit of Everest this morning with a foreign client, he said.

Kamirita, who has successfully climbed Everest 26 times before, broke his own record by climbing Everest again.

Appa Sherpa and Phurvatasi Sherpa have climbed Mt. Everest 21 times. Both of them have already retired from mountaineering.
