Pasang Lhamu’s husband Sonam successfully climbs Mt Everest

Kathmandu: Lakpa Sonam Sherpa, the husband of national figure Pasang Lhamu Sherpa, has successfully climbed Mt Everest.  According to Thamsherku Trekking, a company in which Sherpa is the president, he successfully climbed Mount Everest at 7:30 am on Wednesday.

Sherpa has also held the record for climbing the highest peaks of all seven continents.  He climbed Mt Everest 30 years after his wife Pasang Lhamu set the record by kissing the peak of Mt Everest.
