Nima Rinji sets new world record by scaling Everest and Lhotse
Kathmandu: A native of Sangkhuwasabha, Nima Rinji Sherpa (17 years) set a new world record for successfully scaling Mt Everest and Mt Lhotse this morning at around 11:50 am after scaling Mt Everest at spring 2:30 am today according to officials of the Department of Tourism.
The youngest Sherpa climber proudly took the credit for setting two world records -one for scaling Everest and another for Lhotse as the youngest climber.
He is good at rock climbing and has been a student of bachelor’s study in Kathmandu.
