German climber missing near Kanchenjunga summit
Kathmandu: A reputed German climber Luis Stitzinger has gone missing near the Kanchenjunga summit since May 25.
The expedition operator Amical Alpin said Luis Stizinger has not come in contact since May 25 after he scaled the Kanchenjunga summit without using supplemental oxygen.
The search operations have been initiated to search for the missing German climber. He was seen last descending at around 8500 m.
Luis during his expedition was accompanied by other climbers-Adrian Laza, Vadim Pirmin Druelle, Vibeke Andrea Sefland, He Jing, Waldemar Kowalewski, Flower Waganku Wayta, Pemba Sherpa, Nuri Sherpa, Chhepal Sherpa, Chhiring Bhote, and Ang Tenji Sherpa stood atop the mountain on May 25.
