President Paudel congratulates climber Sherpa

Kathmandu: President Ram Chandra Paudel has congratulated woman Everest climber Yangji Sherpa. She had also taken a photo of President Ram Chandra Paudel together on the top of the Everest.

At a programme organised at Sheetal Niwas on Wednesday, President Paudel lauded the courage and bravery of woman climbers.

On the occasion, he viewed the role of Nepali woman climbers in mountains summit for the honour of nation. Climber Sherpa said she was happy to take President’s photo atop the Everest to give surprise to the President.

Similarly, lawmaker Deepak Khadka mentioned that the role of Nepali women was crucial in mountain summit.
