Passengers exempted from Covid-19 protocol
Kathmandu: Nepal government has issued new regulations regarding the exemption of carrying Covid-19 protocols for passengers arriving in Nepal.
The Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation issued the new Covid-19 protocol which states that international passengers on arrival in Nepal are no more required to carry the PCR test reports and Covid vaccination certificates.
However, the passengers going out of the country must carry the Covid protocols the regulations said.
The new covid protocol was issued to the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal on Sunday urging to imply the new protocol.
Nepal government’s Covid Crisis Management Coordination Committee on May 14 decided to remove the mandatory regulations for passengers to possess negative PCR reports while traveling by air.
German climber Luis Stitzinger found dead
Meanwhile, the famous German climber Luis Stitzinger who had gone missing on May 25 from Kanchenjunga mountain above 8000, has been found dead.
The deceased German Climber was found dead at 8400m according to Mingma Sherpa, chairman of Seven Summit Treks.
