Pokhara hosts historic PATA summit
Kathmandu:Pacific Asia Tourism Association (PATA) has hosted its historic annual summit in Pokhara city which marks the momentous occasion for Nepalese tourism this year.
The historic and glorious event held from May 30 to June 2, served as a catalyst to gather illustrious personalities, influential stakeholders, and tourism professionals, driven by the common goal of reviving the ailing tourism industry in the country after it nearly collapsed due to impact of Covid-19.
PATA along with the involvement of Nepal Tourism Board in this venture has boosted up the way forward for the growth of Nepalese tourism say the experts and participants of the summit.
The summit gave an opportunity for higher dignitaries to share their innovative ideas about promoting the tourism sector in the country.
The summit also was an occasion for amplifying the brilliance and global image of Nepalese tourism with the joint efforts of government, private agencies, PATA and NTB in all.
