PM Dahal’s visit to Panchathar aborted
Kathmandu: A retinue of Prime Minister (PM) Pushpa Kamal Dahal that reached Panchathar this afternoon by army helicopter to have close inspection of the flood induced disasters, loss of lives and properties there could not land due to bad weather conditions.
The helicopter which Prime Minister Dahal boarded was forced to return to Biratnagar for safety reasons.
The Prime Minister’s visiting team included the Home Ministers Narayan Kaji Shrestha, Minister for Physical Infrastructure Prakash Jwala, Urban Development Minister Sita Gurung, Chief of Army Staff Prabhu Ram Sharma, and representatives from the flood-affected districts.
