KMC wins “Swiss Tourism Award-2023”
Kathmandu: Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) is to be awarded with Swiss Tourism Award 2023 and the award function is slated to be held in Lugano, Switzerland, from November 3 to November 5.
The KMC has already been invited to take part in the award distribution ceremony by the Award Organizing Committee of Switzerland via an official letter sent in the name of KMC.
The tradition of selecting the best metropolitan cities has been going on for the last 15 years by following a rigorous selection process, after which a limited number of outstanding applicants are nominated for the prestigious award said the Award Selection Committee.
The KMC Mayor Balendra Shah is expected to visit Switzerland to take part in the award function, according to the Mayor’s Secretariat.
