Kami Rita does not want children to be climbers
Kathmandu: Kamirita Sherpa who broke his own record by climbing Mt. Everest for the 28th time last spring season and who climbed Mount Everest twice in the same season has introduced Nepal to the world in the field of mountaineering. But this accomplished mountaineer laments, “I don’t want to bring my children into the field of mountaineering. They don’t want it either.”
He is not only saying this about his children, but in the current situation, no good mountaineer would want his children to make this area their profession.
After all, why do these record climbers say that their children should not come to this area that has given them both fame and price?
