Mingma’s 6th time ascent on Mt K2
Kathmandu: Nepali climber Mingma David Sherpa who is the world record holder as the youngest climber to climb all 14 peaks above 8000 meters has successfully climbed the K2 for the consecutive 6th time.
Peak K2 (8622 m) is situated in Pakistan. The world record holder Mingma had climbed Mt K2 in winter and scaled the highest peak of the world -Mt Everest and K2 in a fastest way.
He has also to his credit the record of climbing K2 with the speed breaker challenge in 14hours and 22 minutes.
