‘Mountain Queen’ to be showcased in Toronto
Kathmandu: The 48th Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) has selected “The Mountain Queen: The Summits of Lhakpa Sherpa”to be showcased in the film festival to be held from September 7 to 17 in Canada.
The Mountain Queen’s film script is based on the life and times of Nepali female mountain climber Lhakpa Sherpa, who is famous for scaling the Mt Everest for the ten times in 2022.
The film is directed by Lucy Walker which narrates the life of Sherpa and her mountaineering feat.
