Lakpa Dendi Sherpa summits Everest three times in 10 days
Kathmandu: Nepali climber Lakpa Dendi Sherpa in his 11th ascent of Mt Everest has created a world record of ascending Mt Everest three times in 10 days, and 30 minutes.
According to media reports, climber Sherpa had achieved this feat in 2018 which came to limelight in the recent days.
Similarly, he has ascended K2 two times, Mt Dhaulagiri three times, Mt Manaslu and Lhotse three times besides scaling Annapurna 1, Kanchenjunga, Makalu and Nanga Parbat.
Lakpa Deni Sherpa (34) comes from Solukhumbu, who entered into mountaineering sector as porter.
