Record breaking climbers get warm welcome
Kathmandu: The two climbers who set a new world record by summitting all 14 eight thousanders in three months and broke the earlier climbing record have been given a warm welcome in Kathmandu on their arrival at the airport.
The climbers including Norwegian national Christine Harila and Nepali climber (guide) Tenjen Sherpa were welcomed in Kathmandu with great applause by their admirers for climbing the 14 mountains above 8000 m. in the shortest time.
The Youngest K2 climber Nima Rinji Sherpa was also given a warm reception at the airport in Kathmandu.
