Increased influx of tourists in Lumbini
Kathmandu: There has been increased arrival of tourists in Lumbini the birth place of Lord Buddha.
The Lumbini Development Trust said that until July 2023, the arrival of tourists in Lumbini has surged up by 500 per cent as compared to the corresponding year last year.
As many as 23,942 tourists arrived from 67 countries in 2023 July while the total number of tourists arriving in Lumbini in 2022 was limited to 3975 only.
