65 climbers permitted to climb mountains
Kathmandu: At least 65 climbers from various countries have obtained the climbing permit for Autumn this year.
According to the department of tourism, 57 men and 8 women from different 20 countries received permission to climb the mountains. 12 mountaineers from Russia are the most climbers to receive the climbing permits.
Similarly, 8 people from China and 6 from Canada have also taken climbing permits. 61 climbers have plans to climb Mt Manaslu.
Nepal government’s tourism department so far has collected a royalty worth Rs 7.3 million from the climbing permits.
