Mustang enlisted as world’s best travel destinations for 2023

Kathmandu: Mustang has been enlisted as one of the best and must be visited travel destiantions in the world in 2023.

The American news agency CNN in a published article titled, “The best places to go in 2023” reported that Mustang is one of the best travel destinations in the world among the list of places to visit in 2023.

“Nepal’s Mustang Valley is located at the door of Tibet and Mustang is one of the old trails that facilitate trade between the Himalayas and India, and has been mentioned as a famous place for Himalayan trekking,” said the CNN in its report.

Mustang is one of the ancient Himalayan kingdoms of Nepal which showcases several travel sites in Lower and Upper Mustang.

There are dozens of resorts available above the small town of Jomson in lower Mustang. The resorts are of  different ranges from luxury seekers to traditional Tibetan homes.

The tourists here besides engaging in trekking can also observe Buddhist monasteries, man made caves and ancient Buddhist sculputres and paintings too.
