NAC to procure10 more aircrafts
Kathmandu: Nepal government is mulling over procuring up to 10 additional aircrafts in the current fiscal year.
According to the Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Sudan Kirati, the government has plans to add ten new aircrafts for the national flag carrier Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC).
Speaking during an interaction program in the capital recently, the Minsiter Kirati said government has decided to purchase additional aircrafts for the NAC to end the existing anomalities in the airfares and to promote increased tourist arrivals in the country.
He further said that the NAC has launched its flights from Nepaligunj airport to rural areas throughout the Dashain festival.
