More than 117,000 tourists visit Nepal

Kathmandu: The tourism sector of Nepal has seen a sudden surge of more than 117,000 tourists recently.

The tourist arrival data maintained by the Nepal Tourism Board ( NTB) disclosed that this sudden surge in tourist arrival in Nepal in the month of October has been a record and milestone for monthly visits of tourists.

Most of the visitors are from India, Bangladesh, China, and Sri Lanka. Additionally, there is a notable influx of non-resident Nepalis arriving from the United States and Europe.
