Bromding Festival to promote tourism

Kathmandu: The bromding tourism festival successfully concluded on Wednesday. It was organized with the purpose of promoting the local virgin tourist destinations

The tourism festival essentially marked the exploration and branding of the beautiful landscape situated at an elevation of 2080 meters, full of natural beauty.

The festival was formally inaugurated and attended by various dignitaries including Chief Minister of Bagmati Province Government Shalikram Jamakattel, provincial Minister for Finance Bahadur Singh Lama, Vice Chairman of the Tourism Board Chandra Rijal, Chairman of Benighat Rorang Rural Municipality Krishna Thapaliya (Bibek), outgoing Chairman of the Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents (NATTA) and, Vice Chairman of the Tourism Committee of Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) Achyut Guragain.

Speaking during the inaugural function of the festival, Chief Minister Jamkattel stressed the need to explore this most attractive landscape to promote local tourism. He also assured that more budgets will be allocated in the future to make it a major tourist hub of attraction for domestic and foreign tourists.
