Over 20,000 tourists visited Chitwan National Park

The tourists visiting the park included 13,233 Nepalis, 779 from SAARC countries, and 6,048 foreigners via Sauraha and Rs 18.5 million in revenue has been collected the sources added.
The Chitwan National Park charges an entry fee of Rs 150 for Nepalis, Rs 2,000 for foreigners, Rs 1,000 for tourists from SAARC countries, and Rs 5,000 for jeeps said the sources.
With the increased influx of tourists in the park during the Dashin holidays, the local tourism entrepreneurs, and hoteliers are highly encouraged and excited to welcome more tourists during the Tihar holidays too.
