Nepali airlines continue to be in EU black list
Disclosing an aviation safety report recently, the Department for Mobility and Transport of the EU continued blacklisting Nepal’s airlines including the majority of private airlines and helicopter companies along with Nepal Airlines Corporation.
Much to the disappointment of the Nepal government, the EU’s report said the ban has been continued as the Nepali airlines out of a total of 129 airlines, do not meet international safety standards.
This was disclosed after the EU technical team reviewed the site audit of air safety from September 11 to 15 this year. Nepal’s airliners have been on the EU’s air safety blacklist since 2013 due to aviation security concerns.
