Direct flight from Nepal to Lhasa Kicks off
Kathmandu: Culture Tourism and Civil Aviation Minister Sudan Kirati inaugurated the Kathmandu-Lhasa direct flight of Himalayan Airlines on Thursday.
Addressing the inauguration program, Minister Kiranti said that the Kathmandu-Lhasa direct air flight has been established as the second bridge in the Nepal-China relationship.
The Araniko Highway, which was completed in 1965, opened the door to the north and the size of the business also increased.
Therefore, the Araniko highway is considered as the first bridge of the relationship with China. Now the second major bridge will be – a direct air flight from Nepal to Tibet,” said Minister Kiranti.
