Historic surge of tourist arrival in Annapurna region
Kathmandu: The Annapurna region has witnessed a historic record-breaking tourist arrivals in the year 2023.
This region welcomed 191,558 tourists in 2023 as against 181,000 visitors recorded in 2019, thereby making a historic record after recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Tourist arrival records maintained at Annapurna region reveal that there has been a drastic increase in South Asian visitors reaching 97, 554 in 2023 as compared to 53,710 in 2019.
