NAC resumes flights after maintenance
Kathmandu: A wide-body aircraft of the Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) has resumed its regular operations following maintenance.
The aircraft had been grounded since last Monday but resumed its services on Thursday after undergoing necessary technical repairs. According to Ramesh Paudel, spokesperson for NAC, the aircraft was grounded due to issues with the flight control sensor.
The required aircraft parts were sourced from Britain. On Thursday, the aircraft had departed for Dubai, carrying 267 passengers at 4:00 pm.
The NAC owns two narrow-body and two wide-body aircraft for its international air services. One narrow-body aircraft has recently been sent to Israel for repair, it is said (rss).
