Hotel launched at Dhaulagiri base camp
Kathmandu: A hotel has been set up and launched at Raghuganga Rural Municipality-7 to serve the needs of the tourists visiting the southern base camp of Dhaulagiri Peak.
The new hotel and hospitality is expected to cater to the services needed by the tourists arriving here for trekking adventures along the Todke-Dhaulagiri, Dhaulagiri Icefall, and the Dhaulagiri Century Trek routes.
Earlier, the tourists coming here for trekking were facing difficulties due to the lack of accommodation and dining facilities.
The hotel can accommodate at least 10-15 people simultaneously, and the owner, Kushal Paija, expressed plans for gradual capacity expansion of the hotel. The hotel is elevated at an altitude of 2,600 meters above sea level.
