Hills and Mountainous to witness snowfall

Kathmandu: The Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) under the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, says that the high hills and mountains are likely to experience snowfall today due to the partial influence of westerly winds.

According to the weather update bulletin released by MFD, the weather would be partly cloudy in the hilly areas of the country including Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces.

There is the possibility of slight snowfall in one or more places in the hills and mountain areas of Gandaki and Karnali provinces too, added the bullentin.
