First Rainbow Tourism Conference

Kathmandu:  With the support of the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB), Maya ko Pahichan Nepal (MKPN) announced that “Yatra 2 Happiness: First Rainbow Tourism International Conference” will be hosted in Nepal in April 2024.

According to an announcement made by MKPN, the tourism conference is slated to be held on April 20-21 for which the registration has been opened for all participants.

This is the first of its kind in Nepal where participants including celebrities, international tourism professionals, hoteliers, and international donor agencies will be invited to partake in the conference said Sunil Babu Pant, the executive director of MKPN and Nepal’s first openly LGBT lawmaker.

Pant, who is also the cultural ambassador for Rainbow Tourism, stated that Nepal’s promotion of this tourism sector will safeguard the fundamental aspects of the nation’s culture, including its lifestyle, costumes, festivals, and cuisine.
