Phewa lake contaminated by water lettus

Pokhara: Pokhara is known as the tourists’ capital city. And Phewalake is the main tourist hub in Pokhara. Hardly any visitor would have missed visiting this lake.

Lock down is being eased now. Visitors are planning to move around. But the most sought after Phewalake now is contaminated with water lettuce and its beauty is tarnished now.

Phewalake was closed own after Covid-19 pandemic. However, the lake is not yet closed for the tourists and cleaning has also not been done so far. The Phewalake is spread with water lettuce. The lake looks ugly too.
