Pinnacle installed on top of Ranipokhari Balgopaleswor temple

Kathmandu: A pinnacle has been formally installed on the top of Ranipokhari Balgopaleswor temple on Thursday which is situated in the middle of historic Ranipokhari.

The historic temple was damaged during the devastating earthquake that rocked Nepal in 2015. The reconstruction of the pond and temples are almost complete by now.

Few days ago the pond was filled with water after its completion. The pond has started looking attractive for the public and will be opened for the public on “Bhai Tika” day.

The Ranipokhari was built by Prata Malla to appease his wife after the death of his son Chakravatendra Malla. There are other statues of gods and goddess around the pond.
