Pemba Gyalje Sherpa creates new speed record for Manaslu
Kathmandu: Nepali climber Pemba Gyalje Sherpa has succeeded in creating a new speed record for ascent of Mt Manaslu this morning.
Sherpa reached the summit of Mt Manaslu by 7 am this morning on September 27, 2023 by starting his ascent from the base camp at 7pm on 26th September according to Imagine Nepal Trek and Expedition.
It is reported that Sherpa has made this ascent without supplementary oxygen. He has broken the earlier speed record for Manaslu maintained by Francois Cazzanelli in 2019, who climbed Manaslu in 13 hours.
