Nepal Airlines the Main Tool of Success for Nepal Visit 2020, says PM Oli

Kathmandu: Prime Minister K.P Sharma Oli, while inaugurating the 61ist anniversary of Nepal airlines Monday said that the national flag carrier airline is the main tool for success of Nepal Visit Year 2020.

P.M. Oli also added that the airline’s debt of Rs 37 billion was due to the malfunctioning of the management and not due to airlines itself.

He also opined that the government will not provide a credit loan of Rs 37 billion to the airlines unless and until the management came up with a transparent goal and mission to benefit from the airlines in the long run.

PM Oli also directed the airline’s authorities to immediately fix long destinations for the air buses at least to the countries where Nepali language speakers resided.

“If a vegetable seller can pay tax, why not Nepal airlines?” asked PM to the authorities of airlines on the occasion.

He also warned that if the airline failed to do so, then the government will be compelled to look for the strategic partnership with others to run the airlines.
