“Himalayan Great Trail” under construction in Helambu

Kathmandu: Himalayan great trail (trekking route) is under construction in tourist region of Helambu in Sindhupalchowk.

Himalayan great trail is constructed for the facility of domestic and foreign tourists arriving in Helambu. The great trail located on the Helambu danda (hill) is good to observe the glimpses of Himal and wild life including red panda.

The trail has been named as “Himalayan Great Trail” which is being constructed in the initiation of rural municipality.  The rural municipality chair Gyalchan Sherpa said that 300 meter long trail has been completed so far. According tot him the trail project which resembles 60 km long China Great Wall would cost around three billion and 500 million rupees.
