Manang Air launches a new commercial flight

Kathmandu: Manang Air has launched a new commercial helicopter flight from Monday.
According to Manang Air press statement released Monday- a commercial flight, the airbus helicopter AAS 350 B E (H125) – made in France, through Nepali call sign number 9 A-ANJ has been launched.
“The helicopter can fly safely at altitudes up to 23,000 feet and will provide additional support to tourists’ sightseeing and rescue flights. The flight services provided will be more effective,” added the statement.
The statement further said that one of its helicopters was completely damaged when it was hit by Summit air at Lukla Airport on April 14th 2019.
Manang air had started commercial flights through Helicopter in 1997 and is currently serving in mountain flight, search and rescue mission in high altitude area with 2 helicopters.
