Hike in air fare again
Kathmandu. Airlines have increased airfares after the Nepal Oil Corporation increased the price of aviation fuel.
According to the Association of Airlines Operators, the longest route from Kathmandu to Dhangadhi has increased by Rs 220.
With the increase in fares, it will now cost a maximum of Rs 17,025 to reach Dhangadhi from Kathmandu. The fare of a mountain flight from Kathmandu has reached Rs 14,890.
Rs 170 has been increased on this route. The lowest increase is Rs 45 for Simara from Kathmandu. The maximum fare on this route will now be Rs 4,240.
Nepal Oil Corporation had increased the price of aviation fuel by Rs 5 per liter. At present, the price of aviation fuel has gone up from Rs 185 to Rs 190 per liter.
