Mardi Himal trek is newly discovered trail in 2007. Trekking to Mardi can expose you to an exotic wilderness and unbeaten track. Very few people have trekked through this trail in the past.
The trail lies in the Annapurna region through which you will be offered an opportunity to explore the gorgeous sight of the south face of Mardi Himala including the captivating view of Machhapuchre (Fishtail Mountain).
Since this trekking trail is new, you will travel through less spoiled flora and fauna with amazing views you will remember in your later life as a lifetime experience.
The new trekking route provides an attractive natural scenic view of the hidden region, local people and their lifestyles.
Your trek to Mardi Himal begins from one hour drive to Kande, trek via Australian camp and through Deurali. As you trek up to a high viewpoint of Mardi, closer to Machhapurchhare Himal, you reach the Mardi base camp. Then you trek down to Landruk and gradually trek to Ghandruk village elevated at 2012 meters from sea level.
Striking and pleasing views of Himchuli, Machhapuchre, Annapurna south and other Himal can be seen from here. Mardi Himal trekking ends with a drive to Pokhara by vehicle from Khimche.
This trek may be completed in around 12 days can be profoundly exciting and enthralling for you.
Altitude
This trekking region covers an elevation of 4500 meters from sea level for which you should prepare yourself accordingly.
Best season
The months of October, November, December, March, April, and May are the best for this trek.
