Ghorepani hotels to open from December 16
Myagdi: Hotels and restaurants located in Annapurna Rural Municipality-6, Ghorepani, are preparing to resume their hospitality services with effect from December 16, by adopting safety protocols, after closure for nine months following the Covid-19 pandemic.
According to the local tourism entrepreneur, these hotels and restaurant owners have decided to resume the services to cater to the needs of both domestic as well as foreign tourists, in the wake of their staff returning to jobs after a hiatus of nine months and increasing trends of the revival of tourism in the country.
The hotel operators of Ghorepani are also reported to have speculated about the further grave crisis in the hospitality business if they continued to suspend their services for the tourists in the region on account of the Covid-19 in the region.
The tourism-related hotel operators are also encouraged by the increasing advent of domestic tourists in the Annapurna region to play with the ice flakes in the event of resumption of long-distance transportation, domestic and international flights.
