Fly Dubai plane lands safely in Dubai airport

Kathmandu: Fly Dubai plane which was reported to have flown from the Tribhuvan International Airport with a problem with its right engine safely landed at Dubai International Airport on Tuesday according to the spokesperson of the Fly Dubai plane.

The Dubai-bound plane which took from Kathmandu was seen flying with flashes of fire on the plane but its pilot did not ask permission to land in Kathmandu and continued the flight with flashes of fire coming out of the plane.

The spokesperson of Fly Dubai plane disclosed that the flight journey was continued by the experienced pilot from Kathmandu to Dubai after assessing the situation and that the engine was within the normal operating parameters.

CAAN takes punitive action against the airport manager.

Meanwhile, the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has barred the entry of Fly Dubai’s country manager and airport manager from entering the airport in Kathmandu for spreading the rumors that the Fly Dubai plane collided with a  bird in the air while flying from the airport in Kathmandu.
