UN Sec Gen to visit Lumbini

Kathmandu: The United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres is slated to visit Lumbini on Tuesday which is anticipated to raise hopes for the promotion of tourism in Lumbini.

UN Secretary-General Guterres is currently in Nepal to discuss the culmination of transitional justice in Nepal after a decade-long armed struggle that remains pending.

Lumbini is all prepared to offer a warm reception in honor of the UN Secretary-General on Tuesday who is expected to deliver his message of universal peace to coincide with the world situation when the world is rife with warring sides.

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal is also expected to be in Lumbini on this occasion to greet the UN Secretary-General when he arrives there.
